The Maharashtra government’s Ministry of Higher Technology and Education recently approved the establishment of India’s first universal AI university in Karjat, Mumbai. The university will offer various undergraduate and graduate programs on artificial intelligence. The university is the first Indian university to offer degrees and specialization courses in the AI field.
It will be the first Indian university to offer a predominantly interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary curriculum that includes subjects from five disciplines. According to reports, the university aims to provide innovative courses in a wide range of contemporary fields, including humanities, law, world affairs and diplomacy, environment and sustainability, and sports science. The university provides cutting-edge knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. With a world-class student infrastructure, it also offers a Quantum Computing AI Lab, an IoT Lab, an AR/VR/MR Lab, and a Thomson Reuters Global Trading Room.
The university aims to empower young minds by educating 80% of young people through experiential learning and incorporating artificial intelligence into all its programs. The university is said to be supported by 60 global CEOs. The academic year at Universal AI University begins on his August 1, 2023. As a first step, the university will introduce a carefully designed curriculum focused on artificial intelligence.
