There has been a rapid boom in the AI industry over the past couple of months. While many are still trying to understand the nuances and are experimenting with AI images and content, some companies have taken it a step ahead.

One such company is Odisha TV, an Odia-based news station that introduced its first AI news anchor to the world, Lisa. The news station said she is all set to revolutionize TV broadcasting and journalism.

According to OTV, training Lisa in Odia was a big task, and they are still working on it. They hope to train her to a level where she can interact easily with others. “Efforts are underway to make Lisa more proficient in Odia in the coming days. You can find and follow Lisa on all the prominent social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, among others,” they said.

OTV also mentioned that Lisa is capable of speaking multiple languages and can present news in Odia, English, and other languages
